I have been suffering from severe neck and shoulder pain for several years.  My G.P told me it was job related.  At 35 years of age, do I give up my job, sit at home and pop pain killers in my mouth?  I guess that was what it was leading to.

I used to visit my G.P almost every week for Voltaren injections and painkillers.  My X-rays showed that I had pinched nerves and cold in the shoulder.  The anti-inflammatories also did not help me.  Two weeks later after seeing my G.P and getting X-rays of my problem, I went to see a “spine specialist” who had given me an injection that made my body go into spasms and my blood pressure went high.  I was then rushed to hospital that same evening.  I was put on tractions and was given more pain killers.  After 2 days, I was discharged with no relief.

Three days after I heard about acupuncture by Dr Lin.  I then phoned her and got an appointment immediately.  After on week and seven treatments I have lost 50% of the pain.  With further six treatments with Dr Lin I am 100% pain free.  Dr Lin is also treating me to gain the feeling on my lower lip, which was extracted.  After three treatments by Dr Lin, I can now bite my lower lip and feel something.  Thank you Dr Lin.
